Thermal imaging uses a high tech infrared camera to help locate hidden leaks, missing insulation and other problems. Thermography and leak detection is becoming a much desired service. My reporting includes advice on older roofs, older heating/air systems and older water heaters which is NOT required by the state and not done by the regular inspectors who cater to the realtors instead of the client. Those items can cause home buyers financial disaster a few years down the road.

Older homes with crawlspaces are thoroughly inspected which ends up being 7-8 hours total time instead of a boiler plate report done at the house in half the time. These older homes do have hard to find issues that are missed by 95 percent of the local inspectors.

Predrywall Inspections: Many builders require completion of a pre-drywall inspection up to one week before the insulation is scheduled to go in. Please schedule a pre-drywall inspection early and coordinate with the builder to ensure the window of opportunity does not pass.
